We believe, based on our own experience and the experience of many other mediators, that mediation provides a helpful negotiation process to resolute disputes. However, in this business there are no guarantees, and some disputes are not suitable for mediation. In our orientation sessions, we help disputants to determine whether mediation makes sense for them, given their particular circumstances.
